The MESA/Boogie® Story

Born in the twilight of the 60’s from modified Princeton amplifiers founder Randall Smith designed the first high power prototype in the back room of a local repair shop as an experiment for a new type of high gain circuit – after calling upon local legend Carlos Santana to give his creation a test drive, Carlos suddenly stopped and exclaimed “Man, this thing really Boogies!” and thus the first in a long line of spirited rock n roll amplifiers was born!
