Epiphone was purchase by the Chicago Musical Instrument Company in 1957 which is also the same company that owns Gibson Guitars. They have several manufacturing plants across the world as well as a main headquartered located in Nashville, Tennessee. The company remains an industry leader when it comes to innovation, quality, playability and affordability that is considered to be a more affordable doorway to the classic Gibson design.
