Who would have thought a word like "pedagogy" and awesome clinic could be used in the same sentence. Well, Christopher Norton proved that they can.
Christopher drew a crowd of our most respected and revered local music teachers and demonstrated his methodology from his beginings with the highly succesful "Microjazz" books from 1983, to his most current creation, the popular "Connections" series. Chris had some of our teachers in the area play with him to demonstrate the "student/teacher" playability that is created when using his methods.
Chris also showed that backup tracks can be an invaluable tool for teaching keyboard and that a biginner can thrive and progress when they feel that they sound more "professional" and part of a band situation, when they in fact are playing by themselves.
