Albert Lee
Blew us Away
AGAIN!
We saw a lot of faces from his visit last year, and a couple of hundred new ones hungry to see the legend himself.
After a warm-up set by The Arts house band, Albert started by telling us about his long and stellar career which reads like a “who’s who” of the Music Biz, punctuated by some extremely tasty playing. He also spoke of equipment choices along the way, the development of his namesake guitar, and demonstrated his signature use of delay, including a really funny example of what not to do. This was all delivered in his usual laidback style, reflecting his warm soft-spoken personality.
What a truly excellent ambassador he is for Musicman! He signed lots of posters, and even guitars brought by their lucky owners for the event. The guitar he played at the event, a Blue Dawn 2007 Limited Edition is now signed by Albert, and available for sale at the store (talk about Mojo!). Thanks to The Wheat King for the venue, our favorite Musicman rep Glen Booth, and to all our customers who made the pilgrimage! For more information about Albert, please
